This License Agreement governs your use of design resources downloaded from PosterFree.net. By downloading and using our resources, you agree to these terms.

License Grant

PosterFree.net grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use downloaded resources according to the terms outlined below. This license begins when you download a resource and remains valid as long as you comply with these terms.

Commercial Use License

All resources in our library include commercial use rights. You may use downloaded resources for:

Permitted Uses:

  • Client Projects: Use resources in work you create for clients, whether as a freelancer or agency
  • Products for Sale: Incorporate resources into physical or digital products you sell
  • Marketing Materials: Use in advertisements, brochures, websites, and promotional content
  • Print Projects: Include in books, magazines, posters, packaging, and other printed materials
  • Digital Products: Use in websites, applications, presentations, and digital publications
  • Social Media: Share on social media platforms as part of your content
  • Internal Use: Use within your organization for internal communications and materials

Usage Limitations:

While our license is generous, certain uses are not permitted:

  • Redistribution: You may not resell, redistribute, or share raw files with others
  • Stock Content Platforms: You may not upload resources to stock photo or design marketplaces
  • Competing Services: You may not use resources to create a competing design resource platform
  • Trademark Registration: You may not trademark logos or designs downloaded from our platform without significant modification
  • Standalone Digital Products: You may not sell resources as-is without incorporating them into a larger work
  • Print-on-Demand Templates: Resources cannot be used as primary design in print-on-demand template marketplaces

Attribution

Attribution is not required. You are free to use resources in your projects without crediting PosterFree.net. However, we appreciate mentions when appropriate.

Modification Rights

You have full rights to modify downloaded resources:

  • Edit colors, text, and elements in PSD and vector files
  • Resize and scale for your projects
  • Combine multiple resources into new designs
  • Adapt resources to fit your specific needs

Modified resources remain subject to this license agreement.

License Transfer

This license is personal to you or your organization. You may not:

  • Transfer the license to another person or company
  • Share your membership account with others
  • Provide raw files to contractors unless they have their own membership

Exception: If you create a finished product using our resources, you may transfer that final product to clients without restriction.

Team and Agency Use

For teams and agencies:

  • One membership covers one user account
  • Team members should each have their own membership to access and download resources
  • Finished projects created with resources may be shared freely within your organization
  • Consider our agency plans for multiple users

Copyright and Ownership

PosterFree.net retains all copyright and ownership rights to resources. This license grants you usage rights but does not transfer ownership.

You Own Your Final Work

When you create a design using our resources, you own the copyright to your completed work. This license simply governs how you obtained the components used in creating that work.

License Duration

Resources downloaded during an active membership period remain licensed to you even after membership expires. You may continue using previously downloaded resources indefinitely according to these terms.

Note: To download new resources, you must have an active membership.

Specific Resource Types

Vector Files (AI, EPS)

  • May be edited and incorporated into larger designs
  • Cannot be sold or distributed as standalone vectors
  • May be rasterized for use in any project

PSD Templates

  • May be customized and used in client work
  • Cannot be resold as editable templates
  • Final flattened designs may be used without restriction

Fonts

  • May be installed and used in design projects
  • Check individual font license for redistribution terms
  • Text created with fonts may be used commercially

Mockups

  • Use smart objects to insert your designs
  • Final rendered mockups may be used freely
  • Cannot redistribute PSD mockup files

Photos and Backgrounds

  • Full commercial use rights
  • May be edited and modified
  • Cannot be sold as standalone stock photos

Liability and Warranties

We make every effort to ensure resources are properly licensed and free from copyright claims. However:

  • Resources are provided “as is” without warranties
  • We are not liable for how you choose to use resources
  • You are responsible for ensuring your specific use case complies with applicable laws
  • If you receive a copyright claim, contact us immediately for assistance

Termination

This license terminates if you violate these terms. Upon termination:

  • You must stop using resources downloaded from PosterFree.net
  • Remove resources from active projects
  • Delete all copies of downloaded files

We reserve the right to terminate licenses for users who violate terms or use resources inappropriately.

Updates to License Terms

We may update this license agreement to reflect new resource types or usage scenarios. Changes will not affect resources already downloaded under previous terms.

For resources downloaded after an update, the new terms apply.
